Following the success of last year’s charity golf day once again Ontime Automotive sponsored the second and most successful to date charity day at The Buckinghamshire Golf Club in October. The weather was still kind for the day, a small amount of rain not putting off the quality of golf.

To present the trophies this year we were pleased to have Stuart McLaughlan from the Ontime Group, thank you Stuart for your support. Last years winners Boniface Engineering tried their hardest to retain the trophy which they won last year. They were pipped to the post by this years team The Gorillas from Harefield Cricket Club who, posted a great team score to win by a couple of points. Boniface managed to take the honours in the best individual for the day with John Coldwell posting a stapleford points score in the 40’s.

The Charity would like to thank all the teams and sponsors who helped make this day the success it was. S & B Commercials put up a Mercedes Van for anyone who managed to get a hole in one on the 9th hole. Although one or two people got close alas no one managed to take the prize home with them.

Thanks also to the hole sponsors to name but a few Renault Trucks, Interserve, Isuzu Trucks, Mercedes Benz, Ascot Lawyers, others too numerous to mention whose names appeared on the day and last but by no means least OnTime Automotive who have continued to support us for the last 10 years now. This being down to Derek Firminger whose support is untiring on behalf of the charity. THANK YOU Derek.

As you can see from the photograph we raised a fantastic £6000.00 for the charity on the day which is superb and the digging deep into your pockets in the auction helped to get to this figure.

Next year is already booked so lookout for the invitations coming through your door again soon. Who knows we may even surpass this years fantastic figure.
